Maralou "Babe" May Kadrmas

Maralou “Babe” May Kadrmas, age 72, of Circle passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the McCone County Health Center in Circle.  

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the First Lutheran Church in Circle. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the First Lutheran Church in Circle with Reverend Clarice Beery officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Circle. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Babe was born on October 1, 1944 to Gilbert and Marie (Hofland) Gilbertson in Wolf Point. She was raised and educated in Circle graduating from Circle High School with the Class of 1963. Babe was united in marriage to Laudie Kadrmas on October 22, 1965 in Circle, and to this union four children were born. Babe stayed home for several years raising her family before she started working. She had several jobs during her life including the Tastee Freeze, Kay’s Diner, McCone County Courthouse, Schmidts Super Value, Runnings, Albertsons and lastly CCM in Circle, where she worked until her health declined.

Babe enjoyed watching Professional Bull Riding on TV, staying active on Facebook and playing the occasional keno machine when she was given the chance.  She loved anything to do with her grandchildren and her family. Babe loved working, it gave her a chance to keep up on the local happenings and she was able to socialize with anyone that came into the store.

Babe was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Laudie and an infant brother.

She is survived by her children, Shannon (Stacy) Kadrmas of Glendive and their children, Zachary, Dillon and Caleb, Michael (Brenda) Kadrmas of Havre and their children, Julie and Erin, Bradley (Amy) Kadrmas of Dillon and their children, Isabella and Daniel, Dawn (Sean) Lane of Helena and their children, Havana and Evan; one brother, Harold (Shirley) Gilbertson of Miles City; one sister, Marlene (Jack) Limesand of Circle and numerous nieces and nephews.
